Honestly glad to see more people 'dress up' Gardevoirs. They're just so human-like, it seems like an obvious thing to do, really, but it still seems semi-rare, to me.

My Filia seems intent on having her own long coat, at the very least, after her human life-partner (they're supposed to be life-long siblings, almost akin to twins despite one of them being a Gardevoir, but they're making me question whether their relationship is platonic or not... damn characters and minds of their own) draped his coat over her during their challenge of Pryce's Mahogany Gym. She was cold, it helped. Also cold temperatures seem to be great for relationships for some reason (find a snuggle buddy- it'll keep you warm~)- and Pryce contributes with his parting words about many years together with your companions and cherishing that time (from his actual game dialog- one of the things I left alone). I felt like he knew more about my characters than I did, and that annoys me.

Him and my 'old man' Absol, Abel, seem to be those wise old types that just know when something's going on more than is apparent, even just after meeting someone. Abel knew, only after watching Alek and Filia and the others for a few moments back in Hoenn before joining their adventures, that there was something special about this group. He was particularly taken with Alek- for a human, he was remarkable, in his eyes.

... anyway, enough about my characters- this piece is rather neat. I've honestly not played Blazblue, but I've heard people mention it.

And back to the matter of Gardevoir in clothing... I do tend to see the species as white-(or at least pale)-skinned humanoids of at least above-average intellect compared to humans, with their hair as the only true naturally vibrant pigmentation, besides their 'heart' manifestation in the form of the horn/crest/gem (whatever any given Gardevoir is seen as having) in their chest. Otherwise, I see any other non-white coloration as part of a natural clothing of some form they wear, with some or most of the white areas also being clothing, below the coloration on their torso. Whatever natural material it is made of doesn't ultimately matter- it could be anything that would make sense for how it behaves. But they can change out of it and into other clothes, by my reasoning, which is the important point.

I'll also note that I tend to shy away from over-sexualizing them, but at the same time I won't necessarily denounce it, either. I just think they should be treated as any other sentient being, as if they were an alien species- with respect, and, if the situation demands it, they will be sexual beings. But for the most part, I think just being very affectionate is more than enough.
