I am very late, but this is the September Animal of the Month in the Wildlife--Awareness Group! I'm not sure why I drew it in such dark surroundings, because this little South American armadillo of is diurnal (though it does hibernate!).

The Animal of the Month for October is the incredible Long-tailed Duck, which I am going to try and finish on time!
