Mega Man series by Capcom

A robot created by Dr. Wily with the purpose of rivaling Mega Man. Bass is fully intent on destroying Mega Man, to the point that he'll go against Wily's orders or even team up with him against greater threats. Often by his side is his partner, Treble, a Robot Dog that Bass can fuse with to enhance his abilities and even fly. Interestingly, Wily even showed Bass the blueprints for who would later be known as Zero, earning a snide scoff in response.

Bass appears in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U as a Trophy with Treble, and later in Ultimate as part of Mega Man's Final Smash.
