A scientist in the employ of Team Plasma, who would later be appointed their boss by Ghetsis. Colress doesn't believe in Team Plasma's goals of liberating Pokemon from humans, but rather using science to bring out their full potential. After Ghetsis' defeat, however, he chooses to disband Team Plasma, and begins to study Trainrs' bonds with Pokemon as part of his research. He expresses a very strange attitude toward most people, and has even given worthy trainers special items to assist them in their journeys.
