A strong and acrobatic Soul Reaper who left Soul Society years ago alongside Kisuke Urahara, whom she is a close friend and former superior. She often transforms into a cat and transmits a deep, masculine voice, causing people to think she's male. Because of her cat transformation, she prefers to walk around nude, which can be a problem for Ichigo, but she does like to mess with him like that. Formerly, she was Squad 2 Captain and leader of the stealth force, known by the title "Flash Master", and even a mentor to Byakuya Kuchiki, frequently taunting him about the Flash Step ability.
