this version of Betty did not fuse with Golb instead she was a collector of magic on her own and even learned how to do it herself though she found a hooded figure who planned to use her for his own revenge schemes against his brother-in-law for banishing him from their kingdom anywhere that he and his wife have been so busy with stuff outside of the candy kingdom he is even upset his sister aka Princess bubblegum's mother let him get banished

from her dad being a dragon and her mom being an elf in this case she would have used science to turn herself into a dragon to give birth to prince Neddy before changing back to give birth to Princess Bubblegum lastly while he planned on using Betty, she refused to go through with it, and he decided to try something else for his plans
