Cosmic Dance

I never became a "believer." I believed. Believing was and remains integral to who and what I am. I do not believe because I have faith; closer to what is to say faith has me; it claimed me as its own before I could know there was any alternative to this cosmic dance, sending me to places I could never have anticipated, into an ever- expanding multiverse, too vast to exist within domains of any established creed, too wild to submit to requirements of the Religious Industrial Complex. I believe not because I possess fullness of knowledge and understanding; my belief has been forged in fleeting but transformative glimpses of what, of who beholds me across an unseen border, flickering encounters with eternity wherein I am truly and indescribably known.
