A slight redesign of the Crocodile Cowl I made not too long ago from Bonita Patterns. As you can see, this one covers the shoulders, and was shortened in the hood and neck section so it drapes nicely without bunching. I also worked the hood the same way I do my hooded scarves and just added the scales afterwards, rather than following the directions in the pattern. This way the hood looks as if it was crocheted as one piece with the shrug.
I made this one to fit me specifically, but it's easily adjustable to fit any size.
Oh, and this is made from Bernat Premium yarn - it took roughly a skein and a half, maybe a bit more, for those who are interested
