Done a month ago for AX 2013 - Rivaille won my poll so, here he is~
It's a pretty experimental piece - I was aiming for a grittier style reminiscent of the manga. Success? Fail? Not sure...
I had a lot of trouble with the posing (made about 30 different sketches, I'll show some in the step-by-step gif I'll be posting) and general displeasure after I finished, though I did get pretty excited to use a new textured brush I experimented with. Feels like I've been heavily dissatisfied with the art I've been drawing lately. Ah well, gotta keep trying right?
