Description

A scene on the planet Polemos of a small pipeline garrison town. In the distance the low whump, whump of explosions break the quiet winter night. A Human and his sendai use system turn their attention to the sound as air raid sirens begin to swell. The building in the center middle frame is a heavy shettier (flechette firing machine gun in this setting) pillbox, Polemos towns often have these and heavy artillery defenses. There is no snow on the pipes because they are warm enough to melt it before it can accumulate. I had a ball with this one, love the atmosphere snow has at night. More image art like this to come.
