The Dragon King is a vicious, carnivorous plant of unknown Origin, used by wizards since times immemorable to fell the structures of their rivals in petty disputes of power that often took apart entire countrysides with their Idle banter. For eaons, the Magic caste ruled over the land of Elves this way, bullying and tormenting all who stood in their general direction.

However, The flaw of the dragon king is one of subtle, but unimaginable importance: It feeds on Magic, and will often ignore, or even befriend creatures with no mana in their souls.

As such, when the invader finally arrived and did away with the past, The Wizards found their worst, most dire fears had become flesh; A man against whom even their strongest weapons not only failed, but turned against those they once served, with almost zealous fervor.
