As a final submission of 2022, here's Donderdag (horse edition) in their winter coat. For comparison, summer coat below:

Donderdag is a roan, which is a coat modifier on horses that gives the horse a mix of white and coloured hairs in its coat, giving the coat a lighter appearance, except on the extremities (head, legs, mane, tail). In the winter, however, the coloured hairs grow longer than the whites, so the horse looks much darker and more like a regular coloured horse. If you look at their winter coat up close and move the longer hairs aside, though, you'll notice their undercoat is light coloured.
