Description

Part of a series for a childrens booklet about the Japanese mythological figure known as the 'kitsune'. (fox, trickster)

In Japanese mythology the kitsune is a fox who can shapeshift. Some are knows as tricksters, trying to fool humans, others are known as a deity or protector.

The number of tails (which can variate from 1 - 9) a kitsune has shows the 'rank' of the kitsune. The more tails, the more powerfull the kitsune is.

This particular kitsune has got 5 tails and is quite refined and intelligent.
