Some fanart for a good friend of mine, Niamh, from her fanfiction 'Of Gods and Monsters.' She's a very talented writer and you can view her story at [link].

Concerning this particular piece (and for some reason, I'm having deja vu writing this...), it is the two main characters from her story, Sesshoumaru (from 'Inuyasha: A Feudal Fairy Tail', property of Rumiko Takahashi), and Teles (a Greek goddess, an original character).

This piece took about two months (possibly more) to work on, not only due to the huge size of it (300 dpi at 45"x35"), but moreso because I procrastinated horribly while working on it.
The original sketch was scanned in from a sketchpad and reworked, reworked, reworked in Painter 7.0. I redid the drawing at least a few different times, mostly the faces because I just couldn't get them to look right. It was then colored using Painter 7.0 and the background was accomplished with Photoshop 7.0.
