Punishment by WhiteKimya on DeviantArt (original) (raw)

Uru loved her both sons alike, but she was strong and determined, not just as a mother but as a queen too, ready to punish her offspring if it was needed. Therefore, when the four members of Scar's Guard came to her to confess about their troubled situations, fierce disagreements and arguments with the leader of the Guard, Uru decided to take the problem in her paws. It was impossible for the four young lions solve the problem with so stubborn leader. Scar always was a smart cub, but his intelligence mutated to arrogant cunning. After years commanding the guard, he considered himself a competent leader, and that feeling of power filled his head with hopes of victory and power. He knew he was a very suitable candidate to the throne, an even better candidate than Mufasa was. scar had the guard with four skilled lions at his side and Mufasa had nothing but his firstborn title. when Uru called for her son to confront him, the queen noticed, shocked, the insolent way Scar spoke to her. Uru silenced Scar pushing him down to the hard ground and growled to his ear. "If you are a true leader, then behave like one". Uru didn't let Scar free until she felt the young lion ceased squirming. As soon as her son kept still and silent, Uru lifted her paw away from him. "Being the guard's leader means not to shout orders, but to know to hear your companions, accepting their different points of view. Respect is the first of all. If you can't understand that, forget about being respected".

As always excuse my errors :eager:
I'm not soooo fond to the idea of Scar being leader of the lion guard, but anyway, I think his experience with the guard and "success" can be a good motivation for him to get the throne and all that, which would change the dynamics with the other members... Nevertheless, Uru and Scar standing up but floating up there is just priceless (?), but I can't find a good idea for a background :XD:
