Tonight I made tacos using ground beef. Not just any tacos though, I added Flamin' Hot Fritos to these! This was an experiment and something I think I've been wanting to try for about a decade and this was inspired by the Taco Bell Beefy Crunch Burritos (but the idea to use Flamin' Hot Doritos came from Reddit.) I think originally I wanted to use Takis (those rolled crunchy spicy corn chips) and I still can but Fritos seems better! Wanted something similar to the red chips they sell at Taco Bell!

I have three tacos. All of them have beef, sharp cheddar and marbled cheddar cheese, shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, sour cream, red Picante sauce and the said Flamin' Hot Frito chips but I made them all differently. The one on the left has some Salsa Verde added to it. The middle taco has refried beans and Spanish rice inside but no Salsa Verde. The one one the right has refried beans, Spanish rice, and Salsa Verde! Was just going to have two tacos for dinner tonight but deciced to have a third one, the one without the beans and rice!

Also included are some Mexican Veggies (Broccoli, Califlower, Corn, and Red Peppers.) And unseen are some refried beans and Spanish rice on the side. And for dessert that whole Navel orange as I like to have after a taco dinner!

And it was dang good! Well it was that but I think I added a little too much Flamin' Hot Fritos chips, it was spicier than I thought it would be! A lightly harsh reminder that LESS IS MORE!!! So next time, I'll use less!

The only thing I didn't add was Nacho cheese. I would have but I don't know how to make nacho cheese, plus I don't really like nacho cheese all that much, not as much as grated cheese! Might try it another time but I'm satisfied with what I did and nothing more is needed! So who wants to try home-made tacos with Flamin Hot Fritos (or even just plain Fritos though they're not red, their yellow?)

I have another picture of this but a more yellowy picture that my Moto phone camera automatically switched to when it detected food. I took the camera away again and it the screen went back to normal and then I pointed it at the food again and took the picture before it went back to that yellowy color!
