Red Rock Dryland Race May 1st – May 31st EXTENDED through June 30th Hosted by @IFSS-dA, Judged by @WolfHavenWoods (Pedigree-Club Certified) Welcome to the Arches National Park in southwest Utah. This race covers three miles of red rock in the canyon-lands around Moab. Dryland Sledding Teams of 3 to 8 dogs race past arches and desert floral on this canyon trail. The first 1.5 miles are uphill, with a turn-around point at Delicate Arch (pictured below), while the second 1.5 miles are downhill, following the same trail back to the start. All dogs of moderate size and ability are permitted to enter. X-back harnesses are required for all participants. Booties are encouraged but not required. Handlers (if depicted) must be wearing a visible bib number. Rigs may be 3- or 4-wheeled. The race starts in the early morning, with the low-hanging sun casting long shadows over the trail. Frost covers the tops of native plants, and snow may be seen along shaded parts of the trail. The day
