Soon after the great quake, Raph and Seven run off to check on the wounded cougar they've been secretly aiding. But to their surprise, the den has been abandoned!
The she-cat's tracks lead off into the high mountains, letting them know that she's now strong enough to travel and will no longer need their help.

Nature vs. NurtureRaphael x Seven x Cougar ****Raphael** Raph tried to walk casually, but it was hard. If the pack knew... if they even suspected! Ohh Mother would kill him! And Father ... Cricket didn't even want to think about what Father would do! Ordinarily that would be enough to deter the young apprentice from doing something. This time was different. He'd seen it in the beasts eyes. It wasn't a beast at all. She was scared, and she was sick... and Raph understood. Cougars were dangerous, everyone said so. They killed wolves. ...But wolves killed cougars too, didn't they? Maybe the cats told their kittens the same things. Maybe it was because nobody had tried before to make peace. After all, Joseph was a fox - and a friend of the pack, too! So instead of telling the Wardens, like he was supposed to, Raphael had made a decision. He was going to help the she-cat. But he couldn't do it alone. And even though Raphael would trust any of his packm
