Mary Jane Watson or Mary Jane Watson-Parker ("M.J.") (depending on the adaptation), is a fictional character in the Spider-Man stories of Marvel Comics. Created by Stan Lee and John Romita Sr. This green-eyed, red-haired girl was Peter Parker's fourth love after Liz Allan, Betty Brant and Gwen Stacy (after her death). Initially, after her introduction, she had a friendly rivalry with Gwen for Peter's affection.
