One of my lead characters in my story

David is a med student who finds himself all of a sudden traveling with a group
of fighters composed of all extremely beautiful, and extremely deadly, women!
The reason they need him is because they are not allowed to travel on a pro
fight tour without showing that they have some sort of medical staff, even if
it is only one person

The story the TITANIDES is told from his perspective. Part of the reason I made
him a doctor is my homage to Dr. Watson, as he is also the means by which the
story is told. I also put a little bit of myself into this character (screw
Merry Sue comments) because quite literally as the writer I am telling the
story. I also mixed two other characters into him (because frankly neither I
nor the good Dr. Watson are all that exciting… so I needed to spice it up)
So another inspiration is Yukinari Sasaki (from Girl’s Brave) because he also finds himself all
of a sudden amidst a bunch of exuberantly beautiful women under strange circumstances,
and I found his reactions and personality fantastically funny for the
situation. Finally I added just a little bit of Dr. Leonard McCoy (Bones from
Star Trek). I’m actually not a big Star Trek fan and not terribly familiar with
the lore and characters but he does stand out from what I have seen. Mainly I
like his wit and sarcasm but also the sense of “common sense” he brings to the
team.
