Ever since I came back from my exchange year in Japan, I frequently imagined how my life would be like if I had chosen a different path or made certain decisions differently. These cranes represent the collection of my imaginary yet seemingly real scenarios. One by one these cranes slowly fade into the distance because no matter how many times I could carefully craft and hold on to these precious cranes, they are only temporary. Thus, I learned to let go.
