A younger Gecko Moria with a rock-and-roll pirate ship and a few nameless crewmates. For his costume, I worked from the neckbelt and fur collar he was shown wearing at Roger’s execution and felt that a biker look would make sense; besides, the “aging rock star” vibe he gives off always made me think of Meat Loaf.

It’s possible that at some point in the next few years, we’ll get a canon look at Moria’s old crew/ship/style, but I decided not to worry about it, and added some generic-looking figures because it wouldn’t look right with a solitary captain. Considering that the last arc was almost 50 chapters long, I’ve got no idea when the “Straw Hats” will actually be setting their sights on Kaidou, and to what extent Moria’s past will play into things.
