Es un miembro de la Banda virtual Gorillaz y se encuentra a cargo de la guitarra, así como de dar voz en algunos de los fragmentos principales de ciertas canciones. Al igual que todos los demás miembros de Gorillaz, su mejor amigo es el vocalista 2D (Stuart Pot) el cual considera como su hermano mayor, a Murdoc Niccals bajista de la banda como su tío borracho, y a el baterista Russel Hobbs como su padre
