Description

For Mer-May, I drew my persona as a mermaid rather than a fairy.

Claire Water Splash is a young mermaid living in the waters of Hiletopia. She's very similar in personality to her fairy counterpart, aside from a few minor differences. She lives in a coral reef in the warmer waters of northern Hiletopia, she likes the colors and details of the reef, and she uses the objects of the reef to inspire her art. She uses the sea plants and shipwreck parts to create sculptures and other art projects. She enjoys talking and playing with other fish and merfolk, but prefers to spend her time by herself doing whatever she wished. She likes to collect things from the surface world, with books and jewellery being her favorite. Like most mermaids, she likes to sing a lot, but instead of using her voice to lure sailors to untimely deaths, she simply likes to sing with no malicious intent. Sometimes she looks up at the floating isles of Hiletopia and wishes she could join them one day...
