Hello! I come from the ProjectComment group! I saw your deviation several times but I never commented. This time I'm doing it! However, excuse my English because I am not a native speaker.

Frankly, I do not think I am wrong in saying that your drawing is of an almost professional quality and it bothers me a little to come to comment especially since I am not at all an art specialist. However, I can share my impression on your work and my criticisms will be mainly in the form of questions, just in case I'm wrong!

I must say that this drawing attracts the eye enormously and in a positive way. What catches the eye is, first of all, this disillusioned, neutral, and perhaps sad look that is reinforced by a slightly sulky pout expressed by the expressionless mouth. I really like this kind of "expression without expression" but which says a lot about the character. It’s very effective!

I also find that the textures used, including the moles, the colors and their variations used for hair and skin, bring a certain realism to the whole.

Finally, I really like the irregularly thick outlines that finish off this intriguing portrait.

Now, there are also some small things that bother me!

First, is your character leaning forward? I ask this because I find the inclination of the neck slightly unnatural, especially in relation to the angle of the back of the neck and the position of the Adam's apple. I feel that it should not be a very comfortable position or even painful but I do not know if you used a model so what do you think?

I also have the impression that his shoulder is a little too far forward as if he was forcing himself. This impression is reinforced by the light and the black outline of the shoulder which is very marked. Again, what do you think? I think this position is possible but it should not be the best to pose!

These are the two details that really stood out for me and once you see them, they are hard to ignore. Otherwise, two more small details: I find that the line of the torso is a little too straight and that the inside of the ear comes out too much.

One last thing though: I don't know what to think about the white "fumes" around your character. It's very intriguing/interesting but I just can't say if I like it or not. I guess this is an artist technique to make the portrait stands out.

Anyway, this time, that's it! Despite some details about the anatomy, your drawing is really remarkable! It's really good work!
