NO SUN is a conceptual top down soulslike/metroidvania project of mine, featuring a mix of spell and sword combat that sees the player weaving in and out of the fray to strike with weapons forged of their own manifested willpower and cast high motion flowing spells known as Dances. The ring of continental islands swirling through space known as the Storm of Stones have been plunged into a cruel harsh era of perpetual night after the death of the Hearth, the mysterious star that held the orbit of the Storm fixed and blessed the land with light, heat, life, and magic. The land of Raihaven was once among the most prosperous of the continental kingdoms, now a brutal wasteland of various factions vying for control of a long dead place. Can one pierce through the strife and suffering like a beam of sunlight, and use the dying glimmers of the Hearth that scattered across the isles to focus it anew?

Sir Reihman is a leal knight of the blood-obsessed kingdom of Vurial, in service to Elwynn (the brother of that land's ruler). Indeed, those born of royalty in Vurial are afforded a servant-knight bound by blood oath that will fiercely act in their interests and protect them for a lifetime. Reihman fulfills this duty with pride, faith, and honor. With the schemes of Elwynn and his sister involving the reclamation of crystalline relics capable of slaying the gods, Reihman has been tasked with intercepting these things and retrieving them for his master.

He is first encountered by the player in the Whispering Grove, looming over an armored corpse that the Grand Towersword can be looted from. He tells that he is on a mission, and that he can teach you of Vurial's blood magic in exchange for your assistance in his quest. He can then next be encountered in the Chapel of Civarta & be asked to help with the boss fight there. He is next met in Elwynn's encampment in the Pilgrim Deadwoods, with a new mission and further expanded spell inventory for purchase. His quest ends within the depths of Sulidiqua, with the player's decisions ultimately determining what transpires. In essence, he is a helpful minor quest NPC that assists the player with optional content necessary for one of the alternative endings.
