Oh my gosh. I drew something... and I'm proud of it!!

This only happens about one time out every 100+ things I draw. And look, roses! I'm so creative, I know.

Rose. Tyler. <3 Billie Piper does such an excellent job playing the role.

Title from a Florence + The Machine song, although the picture really as nothing to do with the song itself...

..I just felt it was a good representation of Rose to me. (Yes, this would be a good time to warn you that a ramble is coming. BRACE YOURSELVES FOR BOREDOM.) The phrase kept coming to my hear when I saw her. "A Lionhearted Girl"-- as in brave, courageous, strong, all of that. Because she really was, and without being perfect "Mary-Sue" character. To me, she was exactly like someone in her position should be-- not always totally on top of things, not 100% fearless and perfect-- but she was far more brave than most ordinary people would be in the situations she was thrown into, and she grew as the series progressed. She's one tough, clever, brave young lady, who can take care of herself, but isn't afraid to rely on others when she needs them.

I don't get the hate in some parts of the fandom for her-- sure, she had her "damsel in distress" moments, but heck, she got herself out of a good deal of them. And I can't think of one time where I found her to be annoying. And a Mary-Sue? Absolutely not.

So, in short, I really wanted to do her justice with this picture. I miss her so much. ;A;

Aaaannnnd, oh God, there's going to be some people will hate me for saying all of this. ;A;
