After her nerves got the best of her at Amba's carol performance, Priya tried to once again assure Rishi that she was "fine" in spite of going missing.

"Back off, Santa," she demanded.

Back in the village, Ellis confided in Belle Dingle and Manpreet Sharma that he is worried about Priya because he couldn't find her after Amba's event.

"It was just a bit sketchy," he explained. "I don't think Priya is doing as well as she's making out."

When Manpreet dropped by to check on Priya later, Priya angrily told her to stay out of her business. But when Priya turned away, she collapsed due to a lack of nutrient intake.

Manpreet got Priya back inside to rest on the sofa, where she then broke down as Manpreet asked whether she is truly okay.

"You're not okay, are you sweetheart? Anything but," Manpreet realised.

Priya opened up to Manpreet about how the more she has tried to force herself to eat, the harder it has been.

"The big, fat elephant is back in the room taking all of the air and squeezing me flat," she explained.

When Priya expressed reluctance to getting help, Manpreet reminded her that it's extremely dangerous for her eating disorder to go untreated – especially in light of her other injuries.

"Your body cannot mend unless it gets the fuel it needs," she noted.

Manpreet left Priya with an ultimatum: either tell Risha that she has relapsed or Manpreet would do it for her.

Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays.
