Amazon Prime for students is a thrifty £4.49 a month, which is almost half the price of the standard Prime membership of £8.99 a month.

What do I get with Amazon Prime Student?
Students can cut costs with the Amazon Prime Student membership. Those with the membership can enjoy the full benefits of a regular Prime account, which means that along with the aforementioned they are entitled to the following:
• Free, one-day delivery on millions of items. For those who need things quicker than the next day, there is also a same-day delivery option in the UK on certain products (cut-off times apply). The products must be over £20 to qualify for free; however, if the items are below that amount a £1.99 fee is applied. Selected postcodes only.
• The Republic of Ireland gets unlimited priority delivery, which is available on millions of items.
• Convenient shopping to match your schedule thanks to Amazon Day Delivery. This way, shoppers can add items throughout the week and arrange the delivery for a day that suits them best. Packages will arrive the same day each week at no additional cost. Available in the UK.
• Access to Prime Video's library of movies and TV shows as well as live sports events.
• Special deals will be made available to Prime members looking to buy or rent their favourite films and TV shows. Available in the UK.
• 30 minutes early access to Amazon's Lightning deals, whereby a limited number of discounts are on offer on selected items for a short period of time.
• Exclusive access to discounts and deals through Amazon Prime Day with discounts available on millions of items.
• Save while you buy with Amazon's Buy More and Save deal. Shoppers will save 15 per cent when purchasing four select items. Just add them to your cart and the offer will automatically be applied at the checkout.

How do I sign up for Amazon Prime Student?
To sign up for Amazon Prime Student membership, visit the Prime Student page. There, you can get started with your six-month trial before selecting your monthly or annual payment plan.
All members will need to be enrolled at a UK university with an .ac.uk email address. Alternatively, you can send proof of enrolment – more details are available here.
For those of you who aren't studying but who are aged 18-22 years old, you'll need to provide proof of age (for example, a valid driving licence or passport) to access the discounted membership.
