First look at Aquaman star's See season 3 (original) (raw)
We finally have a first look at Aquaman star Jason Momoa's Apple TV+ show See, which is gearing up for its final season.
The streamer released a first-look preview for the new episodes, giving us a glimpse into what we can expect from the final instalment of this saga.
Jason Momoa stars as Baba Voss in the eight-part finale. The premise of this season shows an "explosive new threat born from the sins of yesterday's wars is threatening the kingdom of Pennsa and beyond".

And Baba Voss must do whatever it takes to protect his tribe, as this new form of warfare looms.
Momoa explained what we can expect from season 3 in the preview, saying: "In season 3, there are new threats. Baba Voss is just trying to keep his family together.
"Baba is trying to stop these powerful forces threatening the world in the name of science," Jonathan Tropper, who is a writer and executive producer on the show, adds.
Momoa then talks a little bit about the villain of the season: "Tormada (played by David Hewlett) is this mad scientist who discovers how to make bombs and he's like a general to Edo."
"This season the action's all jacked up. And there's real sacrifices," he adds.
See is set in a "brutal and primitive future, hundreds of years after humankind has lost the ability to see".

Almost a year has passed since Baba Voss defeated his nemesis brother Edo (Dave Bautista) and bid farewell to his family to live remotely in the forest.
But when a Trivantian scientist develops a new and devastating form of sighted weaponry that threatens the future of humanity, Baba returns to Paya in order to protect his tribe once more.
Meanwhile, Momoa is also currently filming Fast X, where he will be playing a villain, and the sequel to Aquaman is set to be released early next year.
See's final season comes to Apple TV+ on August 26, 2022.
Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom currently has a release date of March 17, 2023.
