: NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchestra / Paavo Järvi
Prokofjew’s suite »Love for Three Oranges« is as humorous as the title promises. Plus a brand new oboe concerto and Bruckner’s already masterful First Symphony. The programme with star conductor Paavo Järvi promises a multifaceted concert.

: Reflektor Marc Ribot
Stylistically broad and yet unmistakable: Marc Ribot’s guitar playing is unique. Jazz, rock, noise and always a bit of a protest mood have brought him together with many stars. At the Elbphilharmonie, he will be presenting his versatile band projects.

: Ensemble Resonanz: Beethoven’s »Eroica«
Riccardo Minasi conducts the Ensemble Resonanz through Beethoven’s 3rd Symphony, »The Heroic« – the bold soundtrack of European ideals of democracy and freedom. The concert will be followed by a discussion about Europe and the limits of the concert format

: Maria Halvorson: Thumbscrew
The genre-busting trio around jazz guitarist Maria Halvorson has been playing together for over 10 years. Their compositions are full of fresh ideas and unique esprit. They can be experienced as star guests at the »Reflektor Marc Ribot«.

: Song Recital: Sabine Devieilhe
Each song is a microcosm in itself, tells a story, immerses the listener in an emotion. Sabine Devieilhe lends her fine-silvered mezzo-soprano to songs by Schubert, Liszt and Strauss as well as by French femal composers who are far too rarely heard.

: Hamburg Philharmonic State Orchestra
First she made a career in tennis, now she is a highly successful conductor: Marie Jacquot is causing a stir in the classical music world. She is coming to the Elbphilharmonie with an American programme, sparklingly lively and inspired by jazz.

: Honegger: Jeanne d’Arc au bûcher
French Oscar winner Marion Cottilard, a true Hollywood star, lends her voice to the Maid of Orléans in Honegger's dramatic oratorio. The music is provided by Alain Altinoglu and the Frankfurt Radio Symphony.

The American pianist, composer and producer is a multi-award-winning exceptional artist. His music hovers between jazz, R&B, soul and hip-hop and is as complex and multi-layered as it is approachable and accessible.

: Haydn: Die Schöpfung
The Carl-Philipp-Emanuel-Bach-Chor Hamburg is one of the most renowned choirs in the city and regularly delights audiences with great works. In November, Haydn’s »Creation« is on the programme, a magnificent, sonorous oratorio.

: Vinci: Oratorio per la Madonna del Rosario
This will be a historic moment: For the first time since it was written in the 17th century, this oratorio will be performed again. Vinci’s operas are regarded as true baroque fireworks – and this one will be no different. And in the best original sound!

: »Memento Odesa« – Charity concert for the Ukraine
The Odesa Philharmonic Orchestra is travelling as a cultural ambassador for Ukraine. Trumpeter and pianist Sebastian Studnitzky will be joining the orchestra to present a modern-classical homage full of hope to the city of Odessa.
