Sustainable Development
En+ Group makes every effort to reduce its impact on the environment and promote social development in the regions where the Company operates.
Regional development key programmes
‘Get on Your Skis, Everyone!’
The ‘Get on Your Skis, Everyone!’ project – jointly designed by En+ Group, RUSAL, and the Russian Ski Racing Federation – celebrated its sixth anniversary in 2021. The project's goal is to promote both skiing and a healthy lifestyle.
“Childhood Plus” Programme
Modern city design is not only about beautiful streets, houses, parks, and squares. It should be about children, and how to make their outdoor activities fun, interesting and safe. The “Childhood Plus” programme promotes the construction of modern playgrounds that are designed to address this need.
Project 360
Project 360 has a critical goal in mind: to protect Lake Baikal and other natural reserves of the Russian Federation from adverse environmental impacts. The project was launched in 2011, when a hundred En+ Group corporate volunteers went to the shore of Lake Baikal and cleared it of garbage.
En+ Multilab
En+ has launched a programme to develop local educational institutions. The programme helps the students to master state-of-the-art competencies and to choose their future profession.
“New Settlers” Housing programme
In the summer of 2020, En+ Group launched a corporate housing programme for its Power segment employees in the cities of Irkutsk, Bratsk, Ust-Ilimsk, Nizhny Novgorod, Divnogorsk, Angarsk and Miass.
Grant Funding for Environmental Protection Projects
En+ helps active locals to come up with and implement their own environmental projects; grants will be available for residents of several regions.
‘Energy drop’ educational project
We’ll find out how a hydroelectric power plant works and simulate its operation. We support robotics as an interdisciplinary branch of engineering and science.
