An elated Fisher races off, briefly pointing to the sky - he lost his father at a young age - before being engulfed. That's pretty much the perfect start to international cricket. Campbell late on his off-stump fiddle, seemed to come off the toe of the bat. 14/1

Leach had tied him down with some disciplined bowling, but drops shorter and wider on this occasion. Brooks' eyes light up but he is rushed on the cut, spooning up a chance for Woakes, low to his right. He snaffles it while falling onto his knees and then his front, and England celebrate a big breakthrough!. 83/2 168.4 to KC Brathwaite, Brathwaite is finally chiselled out! Top nut from the Nut, beats the forward defensive and clips the top of off stump! Turn and bounce, pitched on middle and leg and then fizzed through - pop go the bails, and pop goes Brathwaite's bubble. It's been an epic knock, more than 11 hours at the crease for West Indies' captain, and he salutes the crowd as he leaves the field. This game may still be alive... Do not adjust your set. 385/7 187.5 to J Da Silva, gets in a tangle this time! Stabbing onto the front foot, kneeling into a block, the ball slides on into his pad, and this looks very adjacent. No inside-edge... and thumping leg stump! It's all over. Repeat. The innings is all over! Leach gets his third, a valiant effort, and reward for immense discipline. England have a not-insignificant lead of 96. 411/10

44.3 to NE Bonner, skidding on as he works across the line, trapped on the crease - up goes the finger! Bonner doesn't look too chuffed and reviews, height may be the main question, if he hasn't hit it. Hard to be certain from UltraEdge if there's an inside edge, as the very next frame the ball impacts with the pad, just above the knee roll. No bat, decides Gregory Brathwaite... And it's clipping the top of middle stump! Bonner has to go, England are jubilant. It looked a good appeal to the naked eye, and Nigel Duguid's decision is upheld. 101/3 136.1 to AS Joseph, thrashed to backward point, smartly held! The Chingford Murali can catch, too! He was very close in, maybe more like gully, threw up the paws to his left, and it stuck like Velcro. Stokes is again the partnership breaker for England, as Joseph slopes off, head bowed. He was just starting to enjoy himself out there. 336/5

151.2 to JO Holder, maiden Test wicket for Saqib Mahmood! And he had to wait an eternity for it! A wild hack off a good length from Holder, mowing with the inswing and getting a fat leading edge... Fisher circles back at mid-on, the ball is getting away from him all the time, but he keeps his eyes on the ball and his composure, flings himself back, and gives his fellow new boy that debut wicket feeling!. 351/6 180.4 to V Permaul, thumps the pad and up goes the finger! This looks an excellent shout, but it's a very quick review, so maybe an inside-edge? Nope, nothing on Snicko... this was wicket-to-wicket, skidding low, crashing into the knee. Plumb!. 403/9

112.1 to J Blackwood, pads up and given lbw! Has Blackwood finally made a fatal misjudgement? He asks for the review, but it only needs to be clipping. And it's hitting middle stump flush! Lawrence's lozzbreaks have done the trick for England. Flighted, drifting away and then spinning back, bang on target - finally something for England to celebrate after two long sessions. 284/4

Got a long way outside off stump, dragging the ball into the deep on the leg side, but straight down Joseph's throat on the boundary. Permaul has West Indies' first. 51/1 21.2 to JE Root, slog-swept... straight to Campbell at midwicket! A second for Permaul, as Root looks to force the pace. Stays put this time after charging down to the first ball of the over, and gets low to sweep. But a hint of overspin means he doesn't get all of it, and while Campbell has struggled in the field throughout this Test, this is a straightforward chance for him running in. 67/2

Didn't quite get the connection, though it was still travelling and Roach had to take a good, low catch running in from long-off. 161/5 36.3 to DW Lawrence, flamingo-flapped, but he picks out long-on! A hopping, one-foot-in-the-air slap, Lawrence looking to manufacture some extra power, but in the end he presents a simple catch to Joseph jogging in. 167/6

Yep, a little tickle! Off the glove, onto thigh pad, then loops up to short leg where Lees snaffles an easy chance. Wilson's on-field decision is overturned, England have their first!. 14/1 36.5 to J Blackwood, edged to the kneeling gully, Leach is celebrating! Blackwood trudges off and England still believe. Leach goes wide on the crease, and gets this to drift in with the angle before bouncing sharply and turning away. He finds Blackwood's outside edge as he comes forward to defend, which flies straight to Bairstow, on his knees under the helmet.. 89/4 44.3 to JO Holder, short, wide, slapped straight to short cover! Brilliant catch by Lawrence and Leach picks up a wicket with one of the worst balls he's bowled! Superb work in the field, diving low to his left and scooping the ball up just above the ground. A rare loose ball from Leach, back of a length with enough width for Holder to rock back and look to slap it through the off side on the back foot, playing away from his body - but Lawrence swooped in to gobble it up, then roared in celebration. 93/5

8.6 to SSJ Brooks, edged, juggled, juggled, snaffled! Brooks falls cheaply, and Mahmood breaks through. Edged to second slip where Crawley drops it, flaps at it and flicks it up... and Root is the first to react, grabbing it at the third attempt to complete the catch. Similar to one he took at Cape Town in early 2020. Slightly short of a good length, in the channel outside the off stump. Scrambled seam, no real movement though... loose from Brooks, and England think they might have a chance here.... 23/2 12.1 to NE Bonner, edged, gobbled up, Mahmood has another! Is this... on?! Bonner is squared up, turned into an 'S' as Mahmood finds some extra bounce from just short of a good length, and skews it to Root at slip via the shoulder of the bat, hanging back in defence. Simple chance for Root this time, and West Indies are wobbling.... 39/3
