POSTED BY:
Patrick Miller
Brose-Bamberg (BBL) added to their roster 30-year old American guard Patrick Miller (185cm-86kg-1992, college: Tennessee State, agency: Slash Sports). Miller played last season at Juventus in Lithuanian LKL league. In 30 games he was the best scorer with impressive 17.9ppg and had 3.2rpg, 4.3apg and 1.2spg. A very spectacular season in his career as he was voted Eurobasket.com All-Lithuanian LKL Guard of the Year and selected to All-Imports Team and League Player of the Week (2 times).
The previous (2020-21) season he played at Ironi Nes Ziona in Israeli Winner League. The team played in four different competitions (!!!) that year, and he was exposed to basketball on different levels. In 32 Israeli Winner League games he recorded very remarkable stats: 17.8ppg, 3.5rpg, 4.9apg (top 2) and 1.5spg in that year. Quite impressive season as he was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Israeli League Honorable Mention. He also played 7 games in FIBA Europe Cup where he averaged high stats: 15.6ppg, 4.6rpg, 6.0apg and 1.6spg in that year. Miller helped them to win the cup. It was another spectacular season as he was selected Eurobasket.com All-FIBA Europe Cup Player of the Year and Import of the Year. He also played 3 games in Balkan League where he got high stats: 17.0ppg, 3.7rpg, 5.0apg and 1.3spg in that year.
In 2015 (a year after his graduation) he was drafted by Oklahoma City Blue (D-League) in second round (28th overall).
Miller graduated from Tennessee State in 2014 and it will be his ninth season in pro basketball.
He has tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2016.
Miller is quite experienced player. Thanks to Miller's pro career he managed to play on three different continents (Europe, Latin America and of course North America) in six different countries. He has played previously professionally in France (Boulazac Basket), Serbia (Partizan), Turkey (Besiktas, Gaziantep and Yesilgiresun), NBA G League (Sioux Falls Skyforce and Texas Legends), Germany (ratiopharm Ulm) and Dominican Republic (Leones).
Miller won Turkish TB2L championship title in 2015.
