Orange Cassidy signs with All Elite Wrestling (original) (raw)
Orange Cassidy is the newest member of the All Elite Wrestling roster.
On this week’s Being the Elite, it was confirmed that Cassidy has signed with AEW. He’s already wrestled for the promotion once before, taking part in the Casino Battle Royale on the Double or Nothing pre-show in May.
Cassidy has gotten over on the indies with his carefree persona. He put on a show with Game Changer Wrestling called “Orange Cassidy is Doing Something or Whatever, Who Knows???” in Jersey City, New Jersey over WrestleMania weekend this year.
At Beyond Wrestling’s Americanrana 2019 last month, Cassidy retained the IndependentWrestling.TV Championship against RD Evans.
Cassidy made his PWG debut earlier this year and will take part in next month’s Battle of Los Angeles tournament.
This week’s Being the Elite was focused on The Young Bucks having their final indie match at House of Glory’s High Intensity 8 over the weekend. The Young Bucks defeated Private Party and will face them again on week two of AEW television on Wednesday, October 9. It will be a first round match in AEW’s Tag Team title tournament.
