Circumstances surrounding Jack's disappearance:

It is now over 100 days since 23-year-old Jack O'Sullivan went missing on March 2nd 2024, following a night out in Hotwells, Bristol.

Jack, having attempted to get a taxi home, was last seen on CCTV on the morning of March 2nd at approx. 3:40 am walking up the Bennett Way slip road heading back towards Hotwells.

Jack's phone was still active and placed him at an address at 5:40 am in the Granby Hill area.

His phone continued to be live on the network until 6:44 am.

Nothing has been seen or heard of Jack since the early hours of that morning.

Despite the authorities efforts, the investigation has hit a standstill, leaving his family desperate for answers.

Timeline of Jack's disappearance and phone activity:

    01:00 AM: Jack messaged his parents with plans to get a taxi.

    03:17 AM: Last confirmed sighting of Jack on CCTV walking onto the grass area at the junction of Brunel Lock Way and Brunel Way.

    03:24 AM: Jack attempted to call a friend who was still at the party.

    03:25 AM: Likely sighting of Jack on the Plimsoll Bridge heading towards Bristol city centre.

    03:30 AM: Friend called back but the call was disconnected after Jack said "hello."

    03:39 AM: Jack seen walking along Bennett Way.

How you can help

APPEAL FOR CCTV FOOTAGE

There were over 400 vehicles passing through the area during that time that Jack was walking and we urge any cars, lorries, vans, taxis or buses that might have dashcam footage to come forward.

We also urge residents local to the area in which Jack was last seen to check household security cameras and doorbells for footage of Jack passing by.

Jack's family have been overwhelmed by the generosity of friends and strangers alike who have contributed to the Gofundme campaign to fund the £20,000 award for information leading to finding jack.

The Reward Target has now been reached however the campaign has been kept open. Any money subsequently donated will now be used to help publicise the reward and contribute to any costs associated in the search for Jack anything not used, including the £20,000 reward fund, will be donated to missingpeople.org.uk at such time that it is felt appropriate or offered back to donors.

Jack's phone has not been found, however its location showed that it was located at an address on Granby Hill and it remained live on the network until 6:44am.

Was the address where the phone appeared to be located searched?

Only visited once by the police, no further visits or search was made following the first visit

DId cameras pick up the number plates of potential witnesses?

What areas in/around the cumberland basin/long ashton bypass hotwells and clifton area have been searched to date?

Has the mobile phone company been contacted?

Yes, the data has been seen

Has the Route to Flax Bourton Been Searched?

A search is being planned

Did Jack have an Uber account and have they been contacted?

Jack’s uber account hadn’t been used

Have the bus companies been contacted?

We are trying to speak to them

Which is the police force dealing with this case?

Has Jack’s apple air tag been located?

We have tried locating it and sadly it hasn’t been found as it wasn’t registered
correctly

Have the owners of the cars entering the Clean air zone over this period been contacted?

The CAZ have been asked for this information

Have The Harbour Authority been contacted?

Yes they have provided CCTV footage and all relevant information regarding tidal times
etc.

Have places like Cash converters, pawn shops, Vinted and E bay been contacted?

Some of them have yes but anyone offering to do anymore would be great

Has Jack’s debit card been used since missing?

There has been no debit card usage

There has been no phone usage since just before 7am the morning he disappeared

Do you have a PR expert working on this?

We are hoping to have someone to join us very soon

Future searches and gatherings?

We are currently talking about next steps and rest assured we will let people know if
there is and all the details well in advance

Has the Missing Person’s register been notified?

Frustratingly the police failed/forgot to report Jack to the Missing Persons register
initially but he has now appeared on their Facebook group etc.

Have derelict buildings in the areas been searched?

During the public searches derelict areas that were accessible were checked. It is not
clear if or where the police searched

Were sniffer dogs involved?

Dogs were use on the water, we are unsure if there were used on the land and we
have since been denied to use sniffer dogs privately by the police

IS a private investigator being used?

Following a meeting with the family and a missing persons advisor it was agreed that
soe of the donations above the reward amount will now be used to employ a specialist
firm to advance the search for Jack
