Behind-the-Scenes Featurette for Dougal Wilson's 'Paddington in Peru'

Paddington in Peru Trailer

"It's a real village... making Paddington. And bringing it all together is this lovingly hand-crafted film you get to see." Studiocanal UK has revealed a fun behind-the-scenes featurette for the sequel Paddington in Peru. It's already playing in theaters in the UK right now and will open in the US starting in January 2025 in a few months. Continuing the adorable adventures of the Paddington Bear after the beloved Paddington (2014) & Paddington 2 (2017). In this, Paddington and his adopted family – the Browns – decide to visit his Aunt Lucy in Peru, only to end up lost in the Amazon rainforest (inspired by the spirit of Werner Herzog's Fitzcarraldo) and stuck up in the Andes mountains. This fun British-Peruvian comedy adventure sequel stars Hugh Bonneville, Emily Mortimer, Madeleine Harris, Samuel Joslin, Julie Walters, Jim Broadbent, Carla Tous, and Antonio Banderas, plus Olivia Colman as "The Reverend Mother." Plus the voices of Ben Whishaw as Paddington Brown and Imelda Staunton as Aunt Lucy. This was filmed on gigantic sets in the UK, and a few pick-up shots in Colombia and Peru. There's some making of glimpses in this video showing all the huge sets and tons of extras needed to make it all look extra vivid & authentic.

Tom Cruise's 'Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning' Teaser Trailer

Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning Teaser

"Everything you are, everything you've done... has come to this." Paramount Pictures has unveiled the epic teaser trailer for the grand finale in the M:I series now officially titled Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning. Apparently they've agreed to finally admit that this will be the last Ethan Hunt movie (hence the title), even though there were rumors that Tom Cruise didn't want to say this yet. The 8th entry in the long running Mission Impossible franchise - and the conclusion to Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One from 2023. Plot details are still a secret - it's obvious Hunt needs to stop a dangerous weapon from destroying the world and will go to the submarine to find out more. The massive cast of Final Reckoning: Tom Cruise with Hayley Atwell, Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Vanessa Kirby, Esai Morales, Pom Klementieff, Mariela Garriga, Henry Czerny, Holt McCallany, Janet McTeer, Nick Offerman, Hannah Waddingham, Angela Bassett, Shea Whigham, Greg Tarzan Davis, Charles Parnell, Frederick Schmidt. What an fantastic teaser! I got chills! The biplanes aerial stunt sequence they shot in 2022 is also finally going to be in this. Cannot wait! It's finally ready for a summer 2025 release next May.

New 'Behind the Veil' Promo Video for 'Dune: Prophecy' Sci-Fi Series

Dune: Prophecy Series Video

"Everything to love, and nothing to hate." This is also exactly what I'm hoping for with this show. HBO has unveiled a promo featurette for the new sci-fi series Dune: Prophecy, which will begin streaming on Max later this week. Looks like it'll be worth the wait. Set 10,000 years before the birth of Paul Atreides, before the universe knew them as the Bene Gesserit... This is directly connected to Denis Villeneuve's two (so far) brilliant Dune movies but takes place in the distant past. Based on the book "Sisterhood of Dune" by Kevin J. Anderson and Brian Herbert (Frank's son). This exciting behind-the-scenes look at the epic interplanetary series includes tons of making of shots + interview bits edited into clips of footage from the big sci-fi series. Dune: Prophecy stars Emily Watson, Olivia Williams, Travis Fimmel, Mark Strong, Jade Anouka, Chris Mason, Jodhi May, Josh Heuston, Tabu, Sarah-Sofie Boussnina, Aoife Hinds, & Shalom Brune-Franklin. We've seen a handful of stellar trailers for this series already, with this promo being a final reminder to add this to your watchlist in time for its imminent debut. I'm impressed by the scope and scale of this HBO show - it's connected to Dune but telling a whole other epic story. Get a closer look below.

Full Trailer for 'Captain America: Brave New World' with Harrison Ford

Captain America: Brave New World Trailer

"Watch yourself... You're not Steve Rogers." "You're right – I'm not." Marvel has launched the main official trailer for the next MCU sequel Captain America: Brave New World - landing in theaters February 14th, 2025 early next year. Sooner than you know! From director Julius Onah comes the next Captain America evolution – Anthony Mackie stars as Sam Wilson, who has taken over as the new Cap from Steve Rogers after he retired at the end of the Avengers movies. Brave New World picks up with Harrison Ford as the US president, with the power dynamics in the world changing (a real meta reference). After an attack, Cap is aked to join the military - it's not long before finds himself in the middle of an international incident. The impressive cast includes Giancarlo Esposito, Danny Ramirez as a young Falcon, Carl Lumbly, Tim Blake Nelson as The Leader, Shira Haas, Liv Tyler, Xosha Roquemore; plus an appearance by a Red Hulk, who actually shows up properly in this trailer. Is he a big trick? This is actually an exceptionally good trailer playing up the noir conspiracy thriller elements of this next Marvel movie. Worth a closer look.

Extended D23 Brazil Trailer for MCU's 'Thunderbolts*' Big 2025 Movie

Thunderbolts D23 Trailer

"So what? Do we all just punch and shoot?" Lock & load. Marvel has debuted a new almost 4-minute long promo trailer from D23 Brazil for their next big MCU movie Thunderbolts*. This will kick off the summer 2025 movie season opening on May 2nd, 2025 next year. A ragtag group of antiheroes is sent on covert missions for the American government. This still just looks like Marvel's MCU version of The Suicide Squad, bringing together a group of offbeat superheroes / supervillains to join up as the "Thunderbolts" and do the fed's dirty work. The fun ensemble cast includes David Harbour as Red Guardian, Hannah John-Kamen as Ava Starr / Ghost, Wyatt Russell as U.S. Agent, Sebastian Stan as Bucky, Lewis Pullman as Bob aka "Sentry", Olga Kurylenko as Taskmaster, and Florence Pugh as Black Widow Yelena Belova, plus Geraldine Viswanathan as Mel, and finally Julia Louis-Dreyfus as the handler Valentina Allegra de Fontaine. This is a much better trailer than the first teaser, spending time introducing every single one of these misfits. Bob still looks like the most interesting. And Red Guardian looks like the funniest one. Enjoy.

Chalamet on Becoming Bob Dylan in 'A Complete Unknown' Featurette

Timothee Chalamet Starring as Bob Dylan Featurette

"It was important for me to sing and play on set because it was in the spirit of the movie to do it live." Searchlight Pictures has revealed a new behind-the-scenes featurette for the film A Complete Unknown, opening in theaters this December. We also featured the official trailer a few weeks ago as they begin their big marketing push for the release. The film is about the early days of maestro musician Bob Dylan's life. At the Newport Folk Festival in 1965, a young Bob Dylan shakes up his act on the folk music scene by going electric and siring rock as the voice of a generation - defining one of the most transformative moments in 20th century music. Timothée Chalamet stars as a young Bob Dylan in this film written and directed by James Mangold, coming off of his work on the Indiana Jones movie. It also stars Edward Norton as Pete Seeger, Elle Fanning as Sylvie Russo, Monica Barbaro as Joan Baez, Boyd Holbrook as Johnny Cash, plus Dan Fogler, Norbert Leo Butz, & Scoot McNairy as Woody Guthrie. This featurette reveals how Chalamet performed live guitar, vocals, and even harmonica solos in the film. Still think it looks quite good.

Epic Behind-the-Scenes Promo for Ridley Scott's 'Gladiator II' Sequel

Gladiator II Behind-the-Scenes

"This is the biggest film I've been on... It's huge! Cecil B. DeMille on steroids!" Ha - thanks for that quote, Denzel. Paramount Pictures has debuted an epic behind-the-scenes featurette for Ridley Scott's Gladiator II, his long-awaited sequel to the Oscar-winning classic Gladiator from 2000. This legacy sequel is actually a direct continuation - following Lucius, the son of Maximus's love Lucilla, after Maximus's death, who ends up fighting in the Colosseum as well. A new legacy of rebellion will begin... The promo video contains tons of new footage from the movie, as well as some fascinating behind-the-scenes glimpses of filming. They keep talking about how "real" this is with gigantic sets and thousands of crew members bringing Ancient Rome to life. This stars Paul Mescal as Lucius, Denzel Washington as Macrinus, Pedro Pascal as the Emperoro Marcus Acacius, Connie Nielsen as Lucilla, plus Joseph Quinn, Fred Hechinger, Lior Raz, Peter Mensah, and Derek Jacobi. As always, I want more behind-the-scenes footage, especially because Ridley Scott is so badass and I want to hear more from him. These sets look gigantic! Wow! Excited to watch this sequel when it opens soon - hoping it will live up to the glory of the awesome first movie. Strength & honor!

New TV Spot for 'Wicked' Focuses on Cynthia Erivo's Wicked Witch

Wicked TV Spot Elphaba

"Something bad is happening in Oz..." Here's a new TV spot for Wicked, which is finally opening in two months from now. While most of the trailers have focused on the relationship between Elphaba and Glinda, since both of them are needed to sell this movie, this spot is actually different. It begins with the connection we all know from The Wizard of Oz - "before she was called 'wicked'" - as in the Wicked Witch of the West. 🧙‍♀️ After two decades as one of the most beloved and enduring musicals on the stage, Wicked makes its long-awaited journey to the big screen as a spectacular, generation-defining cinematic event this holiday season. Made by filmmaker Jon M. Chu (Crazy Rich Asians, In the Heights), Wicked is the first chapter of a two-part immersive, cultural celebration. Acclaimed actress Cynthia Erivo stars as Elphaba Thropp, a young woman with green skin who eventually becomes the iconic Wizard of Oz villain that everyone knows (and fears). Ariana Grande co-stars as Glinda, with Michelle Yeoh, Jonathan Bailey, Ethan Slater, Marissa Bode, Bowen Yang, Bronwyn James, Keala Settle, plus Jeff Goldblum as the Wizard of Oz. This is a slick spot, definitely got me more interested in watching. Opening in theaters at Thanksgiving.

Keanu Reeves' OG 'John Wick' Movie is Returning to Theaters This Fall

John Wick Trailer

"It's not what you did, it's who you did it to..." Lionsgate has announced that they will be re-releasing the action classic John Wick in theaters again soon. The OG, the one that started it all, the movie that changed everything! In celebration of the movie's 10th anniversary, the original John Wick (#1!) will play in theaters again for two nights only - on November 3rd + November 6th. John Wick, the revolutionary first film of the iconic action franchise, roars into theaters again this fall. Fans attending the Fathom screenings will be treated to more from the mythic John Wick universe with a sneak peek at the upcoming Ballerina, which expands the world of Wick with the story of Eve Macarro (Ana de Armas), who is beginning her training in the assassin traditions of the Ruska Roma. Keanu Reeves stars as a former hitman grieving the loss of his love. When his home is broken into, robbed, and his dog killed, he's forced to return to action for revenge. Also with Michael Nyqvist, Alfie Allen, Adrianne Palicki, Bridget Moynahan, Dean Winters, Ian McShane, John Leguizamo, and Willem Dafoe. The original still really is one of the best action movies.

Another Music Video for 'Smile 2's' Popstar Skye Riley - 'Grieved You'

Grieved You Music Video

"Like you've been talking circles every time you got caught. I already grieved you..." Well, those are some scary lyrics. Paramount has revealed another sneak new music video as part of the viral marketing for the horror sequel Smile 2, directed Parker Finn. Their viral kicked off a few months ago with a music video for a song called "Blood On White Satin" by pop star Skye Riley. This new one is for a track called "Grieved You" - so many ominous songs she's singing ha. About to embark on a new world tour, global pop sensation Skye Riley (played by Naomi Scott) begins experiencing increasingly terrifying and inexplicable events. Overwhelmed by the escalating horrors and the pressures of fame, Skye must face her dark past to regain control of her life before it spirals out of control. The full cast includes Rosemarie DeWitt, Kyle Gallner (from the first movie), Lukas Gage, Miles Gutierrez-Riley, Peter Jacobson, Raúl Castillo, Dylan Gelula, and Ray Nicholson. The trailers for this horror movie have been terrific so far, but this viral is really where the creepiness hides. She's dancing with scary ghosts under white sheets?! Nah, I'm outta here.
