The 2026 World Cup will officially (and unofficially, we guess) get under way on Thursday, June 11, with co-hosts Mexico opening the tournament against South Africa at the iconic Estadio Azteca.

The mega-sized World Cup 2026 lasts for over a month and takes in 104 matches in the new 48-team format, with 16 stadiums across North America hosting the greatest show on Earth, with the possible exception of The Sopranos.

FourFourTwo has your guide for every aspect of the competition – and if you're looking for a big fat easy to digest list of all the fixtures from group stage to final, you're in the right place.
