And that's a wrap! In a short-and-sweet presentation, Nintendo had a ton of game announcements to make. While the company isn't ready to lift the lid on its Switch successor yet, there's still a veritable tsunami of games headed to current Switch platforms from its indie and third-party developers. These include a healthy mix of cozy games like MySims and Coffee Talk: Tokyo, while other interesting titles on the horizon--including the Lego adventure--look set to make the Q4 gaming season very crowded.
There were also some interesting new game reveals, like Tetris Forever and Star Overdrive, several ports from big studios, and even more revealed during the Nintendo Direct. Balatro: Friends of Jimbo
Kicking things off with the Indie World presentation, hit card game Balatro is crossing over with four other games: The Witcher, Among Us, Vampire Survivors, and Dave the Diver. This will see several decks inspired by those games as part of today's update.

Neva
The developers behind Gris had a few more details to share on Neva, a game about motherhood where players take on the role of Alba. Accompanied by a young wolf cub Neva, Alba will have to learn to protect Neva as it grows up, repaying her kindness by becoming her guardian. The game releases October 15.
Sea of Stars: Throes of the Watchmaker DLC
A new expansion is coming to one of last year's best RPGs, and best of all, it'll be completely free. Sea of Stars: Throes of the Watchmaker will let players explore new locations, play as new characters, and will be available in Spring 2025.
Coffee Talk: Tokyo
One of the coziest game series, Coffee Talk is headed to Tokyo. Expect regional monsters looking for a shoulder to lean on and Japanese-inspired latte art when the game arrives in 2025.
Moth Kubit
A mix of detective games and Dance Dance Revolution (and seemingly several other genres), Moth Kubit will be cracking some cases and dance moves in Spring 2025.
PowerWash Simulator
PowerWash Simulator is getting Shrek DLC, so you better get ogre there and clean up the green grump's swamp when it's released later this year.
Date Everything
Date Everything is living up to its name, as a new trailer showed just how you really will be able to strike up a relationship with anything you see, including the game itself.
Pizza Tower
An action-packed adventure that looks like an early-'90s cartoon with unhinged energy? It can only be Pizza Tower, and it's now available for Switch.
Star Overdrive
We got our first look at Star Overdrive from developer Dear Villagers during the Nintendo Direct today, and it'll be available in 2025 as a timed exclusive for the Switch. Imagine Legend of Zelda with a hoverboard, and you've got a good idea of what to expect from this title.
Goat Simulator 3
Ramming its way onto the Switch eShop, Goat Simulator brings all of its absurd fun to Switch systems today.
Tetris Forever
The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky the 1st
The title might be a little strange, but it looks like this new entry in the popular Trails series is sticking to its JRPG roots. It'll be out in 2025.
SpongeBob Squarepants: The Patrick Star Game
No, this is Patrick! The real star of SpongeBob Squarepants is finally getting his own game, and it'll be out on Switch on October 4.
Fitness Boxing 3: Your Personal Trainer
Lace up your boxing gloves and get ready to throw some jabs when Fitness Boxing 3: Your Personal Trainer helps you work up a sweat on December 5.
Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics
Capcom's golden collection of some of its best arcade fighting games will get a digital release on Switch on September 12, and a physical edition will be available starting November 22.

There's no escape from Freddy Fazbear and his homicidal pals, as the fast-food mascots will be coming to Switch during the 2024 holiday season.
Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma
Formerly known as Rune Factory: Project Dragon, Guardians of Azuma will arrive on Switch in 2025.
Lego Horizon Adventures
Peglin
A roguelike pachinko-inspired RPG, Peglin puts you on the path to take revenge against gold-stealing dragons. It's launching as a timed exclusive on Switch today.
Morsels
As a mouse looking to survive in a world full of hungry cats, Morsels presents itself as a top-down action-roguelike with a sense of whimsy. You can expect to start battling against wicked feline forces when the game arrives in February 2025.
Wobbly Life
Out in December, Wobbly Life is an open-world physics game where almost everything is interactive. After your grandmother kicks you out of her home, you'll have to carry out dozens of unique missions so that you can live your best--and wobbliest--life possible.
Pico Park 2
In this sequel to action-puzzle platformer Pico Park, up to eight players will work together to survive more than through more than 60 new levels full of dangerous obstacles. Another timed exclusive for the Switch, it's available starting today.
And even more indies
In a quick sizzle reel, Nintendo showed off a more indie games headed to Switch soon:
- The Plucky Squire: An action-adventure that involves switching between 2D and 3D worlds, out on September 17.
- Shovel Knight: Shovel of Hope DX: An enhanced edition of the classic game and featuring new enhancements, launching in 2025.
- On Your Tail: A sleuthing and story-driven life simulator that'll launch on November 21.
- Cuiseneer: Dungeon-crawling and restaurant management gameplay combine into a dynamic RPG dish, out Fall 2024.
- Metal Slug Tactics: Metal Slug with a turn-based tactical-RPG twist, launching in Fall 2024.
- Europa: A 3D action-platformer with beautiful environments to explore, that'll land on October 11. A free demo is also available now.
MySims: Cozy Bundle
Two beloved MySims games, one convenient collection. This little package includes MySims and MySims Kingdom--cozy life-simulation games with strong narrative elements--and it'll be available starting November 19.

Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D Remake
Taking players back to the beginning of the Erdrick Trilogy, Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D Remake will have several new features, like character customization, exclusive content not seen in the original game, and a brand-new Monster Wrangler vocation to master. It'll launch on November 14.
Castlevania Dominus Collection
Some of the best Castlevania games were released on the Nintendo DS, and three of them are coming to the Switch today. Castlevania Dominus Collection includes Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow, Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin, and Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia, as well as two versions of Haunted Castle. Do not play Haunted Castle.
Five Nights at Freddy's: Security Breach - Ruin
Free story DLC for Five Nights at Freddy's: Security Breach, this expansion to the game lets you play as Cassie, a Faz-fanatic who must explore into the dark depths of the ruined Pizzaplex to save her best friend Gregory.
Yakuza Kiwami
The original Yakuza got a great remake several years ago in the form of Yakuza Kiwami, and it's headed to Switch on October 24. This is where the series kicked off, and just like the PC and console versions, you'll be able to explore the Japanese entertainment district called Kamurocho, become involved in a massive crime drama, and beat up local ruffians with bicycles.
Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & the Envisioned Land
The alchemy-themed JRPG series returns, and this time, players will take control of a new protagonist named Yumia as she confronts her dark past.
Tales of Graces f Remastered
Journey back to the planet Ephinea in this remastered version of the classic RPG, which features new quality-of-life updates like improved graphics and auto-save features. It'll be released on January 17, 2025.
Suikoden I & II HD Remaster Gate Rune and Dunan Unification Wars
Finally, JRPG fans can also look forward to remastered versions of Suikoden I and Suikoden II. Like the original games, you'll recruit dozens of characters to your side, expand your influence, and fight for justice when these games come to Nintendo Switch on March 6, 2025.
