Python | Numpy np.hermmul() method (original) (raw)

Last Updated : 06 Dec, 2019

With the help of **np.hermmul()** method, we can get the multiplication of two hermite series by using np.hermmul() method.

Syntax : np.hermmul(series1, series2)
Return : Return the coefficient of series after multiplication.

Example #1 :
In this example we can see that by using np.hermmul() method, we are able to get the coefficient of series after multiplication of two hermite series by using this method.

import numpy as np

from numpy.polynomial.hermite import hermmul

series1 = np.array([ 1 , 2 , 3 , 4 , 5 ])

series2 = np.array([ 6 , 7 , 8 , 9 , 10 ])

gfg = hermmul(series1, series2)

print (gfg)

Output :

[21154. 17903. 44860. 13458. 16278. 2154. 1706. 85. 50.]

Example #2 :

import numpy as np

from numpy.polynomial.hermite import hermmul

series1 = np.array([ 1 , 2 , 3 ])

series2 = np.array([ 1 , 2 , 3 ])

gfg = hermmul(series1, series2)

print (gfg)

Output :

[81. 52. 82. 12. 9.]
