With the help of **stats.halfgennorm.entropy()** method, we can get the value of entropy of random variate by using stats.halfgennorm.entropy() method.

Syntax : stats.halfgennorm.entropy(beta) Return : Return the value of entropy of random variate.

**Example #1 :**In this example we can see that by using stats.halfgennorm.entropy() method, we are able to get the value of entropy of random variate by using this method.

Python3 1=1 `

import halfgennorm

from scipy.stats import halfgennorm beta = 2

Using stats.halfgennorm.entropy() method

gfg = halfgennorm.entropy(beta)

print(gfg)

`

Output :

0.3792177623647547

Example #2 :

Python3 1=1 `

import halfgennorm

from scipy.stats import halfgennorm beta = 4

Using stats.halfgennorm.entropy() method

gfg = halfgennorm.entropy(beta)

print(gfg)

`

Output :

0.15172816357818686
