Eight wind gods take care of this cache. They live in a clock tower at the center of Athens.

The tower of the winds is one of the most ingenious creations of ancient architecture, featuring a number of unusual technical gadgets:

• the eight outer walls exhibit sundials
• the interior contained a water clock
• the roof bore a wind vane
