Adult, Student, and Family Memberships are available, and the only prerequisite is an interest in becoming part of the GRAAA and payment of modest annual dues. A membership application can be filled out and submitted online or downloaded to be mailed with payment. A “Welcome Package” is sent via USPS to all new members (allow two weeks for delivery).

Here are some of the opportunities that await you as a GRAAA member:

• Sharing ideas of common interest with others and forming new friendships
• Monthly email notifications of upcoming activities
• Participating in monthly meetings, special events, outreach, Public Nights, and other activities, suited to all ages and levels of knowledge/experience
• Observing the sky with and learning from experienced amateur astronomers, and assistance with setup and use of personal telescopes and accessories
• Personal use of multiple telescopes at the Veen Observatory following completion of appropriate orientation and training
• Taking your own celestial images with Veen Observatory and personal telescopes
• Participation in special interest groups within the Association
• Access to the Members' Only sections of graaa.org and our Discord server
