School of Business (original) (raw)

We teach business practice with an eye to bringing peace and prosperity to the communities we are called to serve (Jer. 29:7). What a thrill to be part of God’s bigger plan, as we bless those around us with His blessing and abundance!

The Grace College School of Business strives to create an experiential learning environment that inspires students to embrace the biblically-based ethical character, develop professional competence, and demonstrate active service where they live and work. Grace business college programs provide preparation for entry into a variety of business occupations as well as a foundation for graduate study.

Core courses, along with the liberal arts requirements, provide substantive undergraduate coverage of the functions of the business firm, an understanding of the environment of business and human behavior, and an opportunity to develop one’s personal Christian commitment and moral reasoning ability.

”We are delighted to have Grace College as a candidate for Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) accreditation,” said Dr. Steve Parscale, Grace College as a candidate for Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) accreditationChief Accreditation Officer for ACBSP. “The fact that Grace College is pursuing ACBSP accreditation shows their commitment to providing the highest quality business education for their students.”

Established in 1988, ACBSP is the only organization offering specialized business accreditation for all degree levels, from associate to baccalaureate to doctoral degree programs. ACBSP accreditation certifies that the teaching and learning processes within the business programs offered at Grace College School of Business meet the rigorous educational standards established by ACBSP.

The Grace College undergraduate business school emphasizes biblical integration across the curriculum. We believe that God’s Word provides guidance and understanding for business decision-making even in our modern world. The School of Business offers a myriad of opportunities for hands-on learning, from running your own micro-business on campus to assisting local businesses solve their own challenges. The Gordon Institute for Enterprise Development provides an outlet for entrepreneurial creativity by sponsoring events, assisting local organizations and holding an annual Business Plan Competition. Our co-curricular professional development program, called the Career Institute, was designed to help students discover their God-given passions and talents in such a way that it will help focus their studies on preparing for the career God has for them in the future. We believe that our dedication to biblical integration and the opportunities we provide for experiential learning and personal mentoring make Grace a compelling choice among business programs at Christian colleges.
