Allyson Portee has been a contributor at The Hollywood Reporter since 2021. Starting out in the world of politics, she interned and worked in Washington, DC, in Congress and at The White House, majoring in history at The George Washington University and getting her masters in International Relations at Hult International Business School in London. Today she’s in a totally different arena: fashion. Developing an eye for sartorial craftsmanship, Allyson has learned how to put intricate and detailed collections into words, while developing relationships with some of the world's most leading brands and covering Paris Fashion Week shows.
