Jackie Strause manages the breaking news team out of the New York bureau, covering 24/7 entertainment news and industry reporting. She works closely with THR.com's Live Feed team, covering the business of making TV — from deals, development and casting to series orders, trailers, renewals and cancellations to deep-dive interviews with creators and stars. She came to THR.com in 2015 and is a LA Press Club awards winner and SoCal Journalism Awards nominee for TV coverage on The Live Feed. Jackie previously worked on the digital teams at Yahoo and The New York Post. She graduated from the University of Maryland, with a bachelor’s degree in Journalism.
