Fox is reteaming with Anders Holm.

The Mindy Project alum and Workaholics star is set to topline a private-eye comedy from The Office duo Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.

Pigeon revolves around Simon Pigeon (Holm), a private eye who is uniquely suited to detective work but ill-equipped to manage his personal life.

Eisenberg and Stupnitsky will pen the script and exec produce via ABC Studios, where the duo are under an overall deal. The single-camera comedy landed at Fox with a hefty put-pilot commitment and marks a key off-network sale for ABC Studios at Fox, which last season greenlit shows almost entirely from its in-house studio. Isaac Horne and Holm will also exec produce.

Holm is best known for his role on Comedy Central’s Workaholics, which has already been renewed for a seventh season in 2017.

The project brings Holm back to Fox after his recurring role on The Mindy Project before the comedy moved to Hulu. His credits include an episode of Fox’s Brooklyn Nine-Nine and Modern Family. Next, he is teaming with Seth Rogen and his fellow Workaholics creators for feature Game Over, Man.

Holm is repped by WME, Avalon Management and attorney Jeff Endlich.

This development season, family and workplace comedies have become in greater demand as broadcast networks look for broader fare in a competitive landscape.

Eisenberg and Stupnitsky count Bad Teacher, Hello Ladies and Trophy Wife among their credits. They’re repped by WME, Mosaic and Sloane Offer.
