Helsinki Region Transport (HSL) offers open data both in the form of API services and data packages. All available data distribution channels are listed below.

Terms of Use

All data sets and APIs (with the exception of the Journey Planner OSM data listed below) are licensed under Creative Commons BY 4.0 International Licence (as of 1 September 2015). When using the data, please cite the Licensee and the time when HSL delivered the data (e.g. © HSL 2016).

HSL owns all CC BY 4.0 data listed on this page, with the exception of the city bike OD data, which is owned by City Bike Finland.

NB! The Journey Planner's data geometry and address data based on OpenStreetMap (OSM) are licensed under the ODbL license. In practice, this applies to part of the routing, geocoding and map API data.
