WINNERS FOR INTERNATIONAL EMMY® KIDS AWARDS ANNOUNCED SIMULTANEOUSLY ON INTERNATIONAL ACADEMY WEBSITE & MIPCOM ONLINE +
New York, October 14, 2020 – The International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences announced today the winners of the International Emmy® Kids Awards. The announcement was made during an online presentation simultaneously available on the Academy’s website and the Mipcom Online + platform.
The Tiger who came to Tea won the Kids: Animation category.
Finding My Family: Holocaust – A Newsround Special won the Kids: Factual & Entertainment category.
Hardball won the Kids: Live-Action category.
Complete winners’ information follows this release. All these programs were broadcast between January 1 and December 31, 2019; in accordance with the competition’s eligibility period.
“There are a lot of problems in the world right now, but children are still growing up and they are watching television more than ever. So we in the television community have a special responsibility” said International Academy President, Bruce L. Paisner. “We congratulate the teams behind these winning programs for making great television.”
