Deepika Padukone and Hrithik Roshan met director Siddharth Anand to discuss their next film, Fighter. It will be Bollywood's first action franchise.

Ever since Fighter was announced earlier this year, on Hrithik Roshan’s 47th birthday, fans have been waiting for updates on the film. The ball seems to be in motion now, as the actor was seen meeting up with director Siddharth Anand and the film’s lead actress, Deepika Padukone, in Mumbai today.

DEEPIKA PADUKONE AND HRITHIK ROSHAN MEET FOR FIGHTER IN MUMBAI

Fans are super-excited to watch Bollywood’s top stars, Deepika Padukone and Hrithik Roshan, together on screen. It was recently announced that Fighter is going to be India's first aerial action franchise. Today, the two actors met up with the film’s director, Siddharth Anand in Mumbai.

Deepika Padukone was seen in an oversized Balenciaga sweatshirt and jeans. The actress was all masked-up.

Hrithik Roshan was also seen adhering to Covid-19 protocols and did not take off his masks.

Here’s War director Siddharth Anand, who will help the much-anticipated Fighter.

Hrithik Roshan shared some pictures with Deepika and Siddharth on Instagram and wrote, “This gang is ready for take off #Fighter (sic).”

WHEN HRITHIK ANNOUNCED FIGHTER

The film was announced on Hrithik Roshan's 47th birthday. To the delight of fans, Hrithik himself took to his social media account and shared a motion poster of the film. He also showed excitement about collaborating with Siddharth Anand and Deepika Padukone for Fighter.

His tweet read, “Presenting a glimpse of the MARFLIX vision as #Fighter! Looking forward to my first flight alongside the exceptional @deepikapadukone. All buckled up for this #SiddharthAnand joyride (sic).”

Fighter, an action-packed film, is scheduled for a September 2022 release.
